Review of Bardwil Evolution Round Tablecloth

The price currently listed here is a little higher than where I found my own tablecloths, but they are well worth it.

We bought two of these, one linen and one sage.We will be buying more!

We immediately tested them with some water and all it does is bead up on the surface and you can easily wipe it away with a cloth.We were very happy.

But the real test was when we had red wine with dinner and naturally spilled it on our new tablecloth.It didn't leave a mark on the linen (white) tablecloth.We just grabbed a napkin and wiped it away with no hassle.Wow!My kids have smeared red curry sauce on the cloth and it just wipes up without leaving a stain.Grape juice, jelly, yellow mustard and maple syrup have all landed on this cloth and wiped away with no residue.

Not only are they stain resistant (as far as we can tell, stain-proof!) but if you're going to use a tablecloth anyway you might as well buy an eco-friendly one that reuses and recycles old water bottles.I would happily pay this price (or more) for them, because I will be able to use them for years and years without them staining.

Review of Bardwil Evolution Shower Curtain

Most shower curtains on the market these days have some anti-mildew agents in them.This one never claims to, which is wise-- because you'll find that although it looks lovely in the bath, it requires a good washing at least every two weeks if you take a daily shower.I was very pleased with the appearance of this shower curtain and it has held up over time, but I do have to wash and bleach it regularly to keep the mildew smell and stains from creeping around the edges.

Review of Reflections 52 by 52-Inch Tablecloth

Just as promised, any liquid poured on the tablecloth will bead up initially. The material is very soft. This has also seen the washer many times and it still looks like new. I had bought one of these in "Sun" for over twice as much I paid for them on Amazon. Amazon really has a great deal on these. You can't buy a microfiber tablecloth for this price at even Wal-Mart. I really can't say enough good things about this tablecloth.

I bought two sets of these for my family.I might not use them for company, because the texture and weave are casual, not at all fancy.However, I use them more often than any other placemat, because they wash like a dream and go back on the table without ironing.The perfect balance between wipe-clean plastic (no toddlers anymore -- don't have to do plastic) and fancier placemats that have to be ironed.

I read about these tablecloths in Good Housekeeping so I figured you couldn't go wrong. I was right! This tablecloth is made of pop bottles. Believe it or not, it feels just like fabric. The weave is very attractive and there are several colors. When your son drips his drink on it, the liquid just beads up. When you throw it in the washer and dryer it comes out perfectly. Review of Bardwil Evolution Oval Tablecloth

I bought this in Merlot.It looks good - no one who sees it believes it's made from recycled plastic!Has excellent stain resistence - have used it over and over for famiy dinners that include 3 grandchildren ages 3,4,and 5.There have been lots of spills, but never a stain - it washes easily and goes straight from the dryer to the table, no ironing necessary!
I've started keeping it on my dining room table 24/7 and I'm buying another one in a different color just for a change of pace.

Review of Bardwil Cobblestone Tablecloth

This particular kind of fabric doesn't look like it is going to wear well.It catches on things and has a weave that looks like it is going to pull.Washing it did not remove the folds from the original packaging.If this thing survives my family use for three months I will be amazed.

These placemats do quite well in the washing machine.They haven't faded, shrunk & appear exactly as they were when I first opened them.They are quite large.The only downfall to these mats is the color.They are really bright black & not the softer black I was looking for.If you plan on using them all the time & washing them alot, which I do, they are quite durable.

Review of Bardwil Evolution Square Tablecloth

I don't know what the person who gave it one star expected, but this is the first Amazon review I've ever written, and I'm writing it because I can't stop telling everyone I know about this tablecloth. It repels EVERYTHING. Water, juice, wine, food, everything beads up and slides off or is absorbed easily by a paper towel. I have two small kids and used to wash several tablecloths once a week. These last at least 2, still looking perfect despite spills. Then I toss it in the wash, and it comes out perfectly with no ironing. Add to that that it's made from recycled plastic bottles, so you're doing something decent with all that trash, and I'm so happy with them I've tossed all my old table linens and bought these in every color and size for my kitchen and dining tables. The only complaint I have it that because they are so moisture resistant, the napkins don't do a fabulous job wiping up. I just got regular cloth napkins in complementary colors.

Review of Bardwil Linen Ease Tablecloth

These tablecloths are made by Bardwil Linens a textile company located in New York's garment district. The tablecloths are made in Taiwan and are of a 100% synthetic-poly material and are machine washable. With Amazon's everyday low price (not to mention free shipping) and 4 for 3 offer I purchased multiple sets of these because you couldn't beat this price even if you had a big fat stick. I got mine in black and burgundy. The colors are basically true to the pictures here, however they're every-so slightly lighter. I find the black would be nice for everyday occasions or just a casual dinner with friends and family. It could also be dressed up slightly with some nice napkins and other items. The burgundy looks a littler dressier and I am sure it will be a great addition to my Christmas decor. One thing I did want to discuss was the sizing. First of all, it's very confusing. I wish Amazon would post a size chart (Birdwell includes one on the back of each of the packages, which I will typed up below). However, the sizing is not true to size. I strongly recommend you order up by 1 size. These spot-clean very well and wash very nicely in the washing machine, they also take an iron well, too.

This has become our everyday tablecloth. Usually I can just shake out the crumbs,wipe out the spills with a damp cloth, and put the cloth back on the table, but of course sometimes it needs to go in the laundry.We bought the white cloth and it looks like new after many washings.No stains have lasted through a wash, though I do not know if some of our barbecue, spaghetti, baked beans and other stains would have come out completely if I hadn't used OxyClean because when I have a bad stain that doesn't wipe out with a cloth I do spray some OxyClean on before washing. We bought a second one of the same tablecloth to use when the first is in the wash.Also, the cloth looks perfectly smooth and neat when I take it out of the dryer.

Review of Popcorn 3-Piece Kitchen Towel Set

First off I only write reviews of my purchases when the item is of great value and quality (these are both) or if it is a waste of money, (these are not)!

They are a very heavy dense fabric, all cotton, that is approximently 28 inches long and 16 inches wide.(size of standard pillow case) The material is not too heavy that it does not absorb spills or get into small areas in cups and glassware. They wash and dry nice, without any lose of color or shrinking. These towels are very vibrant in their colors.

I received these over a month ago for 6 bucks and am purchasing another set today.

I hope this is helpful.

UPDATE: 11/09/2009 I just purchased my third set of these amazing towels. The set I purchased in 2007 are being to wear and so I got one more set and I'll possibly get another as needed.
