I bought these as an anniversary gift to my husband. We really like them, considering getting another set for larger dinners.They offer a touch of "antique" elegance to the table, but it is clear that they are manufactured and not really old spoons turned into napkin rings.Nice weight and feel.

Review of DII Garden Grove Essentials Heavyweight Dish Towel, Set of 3

I loved the look/colors of these towels. I washed as directions before first use, the shrunk and need to be ironed, the edges roll up. They don't dry well, they are always wet when I go to dry my hands. I'm not happy with then at all!

These towels are very nice.Perfect size, and they wash well, too.Love the cheerful color...I chose yellow.

The only downside was all the little plastic things you need to cut off that hold each towel together.It was difficult removing them without pulling/snagging threads in the process.There were way too many of them.A sticky paper strip around them would work much better and not damage these pretty towels.

Review of DII Ribbed Placemats, Set of 4

The other review rating these DII placemats as a 1 is a mistake of Amazon; the low rating is for the plastic placemats only, not the cotton. These ribbed cotton placemats are the real deal--thick, sturdy, washable, and dryable in the machine and on the line. I've purchased these for years and I'm still using the original buys. They're great basics--freeing you to have fun with all kinds of napkins. I have Luna ware--solid pottery china in different colors, like Fiesta--and it's fun to mix and match the different dish colors with the various placemat colors. I've seen similar solid-colored cotton placemats at big-box stores that are cheaper at $1.99 each, but they're too thin. These DII ones are just the right weight. Since discovering this brand, I've taken most of my others to Goodwill--even cotton, washable ones that aren't practical in the end because they curl up and/or wrinkle, such as ones from April Cornell. I use these DII placemats every day, and wash them once a week.

In the end, I decided these were fine for my purpose, but I nearly returned them when they first arrived.I purchased 24 to use for everyday in lieu of paper napkins, and they are a good price and quality for this.The problem with ordering a fabric item online is that you can't judge the hand, and the product description does not let you know that these are rather loosely woven and informal in appearance.I had hoped to buy napkins with a sateen finish, but that would probably require some serious ironing.These get pretty crumpled in the wash, and even after being ironed, they are not especially smooth or crisp.The combination of their price and softness make them a good selection for everyday or very casual entertaining, but do not get them for a more formal table.

I like these sponges.They hold the suds while washing dishes.The sponges remain soft when they are dry and do not get crisp like some dried sponges.The darker microfiber colors may run when they are new, but immersing the sponge in cold water and a little vinegar stops the color bleeding immediately.They work great on stainless steel appliances.They rinse quite clean at the sink and are machine washable.

The napkins are large and thick.Very nice napkins for the price.Do not go by the color panels you see however.I got the blackberry which look like a red on the color panel but they are actually a super dark purple color.Pretty but not the color I wanted.I am too lazy to return because we use these for everyday use instead of paper napkins.I bought more in more colors.You will not be disappointed.
