Review of Domestique Linen Bistro Apron

The apron is generously-sized and actually quite flattering, not to mention practical. The fabric is linen of average quality (as you might expect from an apron), but looks sturdy. I am pretty happy with it, but would like it better if it cost less. Also WHERE in Eastern Europe was it made? Romania? Belarus? Moldova? I bet you could get it there for 10% of the price. Ah, but such is life.

Edit: Whoa, I paid $40 for this and now it's down to $12!That's an amazing deal. Go buy one now.

Review of Domestique Linen Chef's Jacket

By nature, I am not a huge "pink" person, but that was the only color available in a small, and the price was unbelievable.The cut is quite generous, however it fits as it should: a bit loose, a little long in the sleeves, and perfect for the kitchen. The sleeves can pinned or hemmed, but in the case of protecting your hands and arms while cooking, better to have the fabric to pin back than to have a jacket with too short of sleeves.It breathes well, protects your skin, and is a very reasonable buy.Being made of linen; it is going wave and wrinkle a bit in the washer and dryer.The only true downside, though, that I see in the design of this jacket is that there is only one pocket.It would be nice to have a thermometer pocket on the side of one of the sleeves.Other than that; I love it.I may not be a "pink" person, but for the price and quality of the product...I could wear a hot pink one covered in hearts and rainbows and not bat an eye.

I bought this apron for a friend's bridal shower.I thought it was very pretty & classy, as far as aprons go.I'm very happy with this purchase.The apron was one of the favorite presents at the shower.I was impressed with how much the other women admired it, asking where I'd gotten it.I take their feedback seriously because they're a bit older than me & have a lot more experience in the kitchen!The apron has pockets, which is great.To me (and to the bride), the best part is how attractive it is.The bride literally put the apron on after she openned it, & the apron was actually attractive on top of her black & gray dress.It will be a great apron to wear at a party or on some occasion where you want to look nice.Great buy!

This was on sale when I bought it, and I only paid 15 for it, so I'm very pleased.I love the way it looks, and it's very nice quality.I haven't washed it yet, so I don't know how it will wash, but so far I'm very pleased.The twill aprons by this company are also excellent, and I'm very happy with those also (but I only paid 10.00 for them).I would not want to pay list price.
