I bought these king size sheets recently for my king size bed. Simply, they do not fit. They don't even come close. The fitted sheets just tuck in at the corner but pull the mattress corners up(it is very tight), and the elasitic sides are about 4-5 inches short along the sides of the bed. The flat sheet does not fall to the bottom of the sides of the mattress and while it is long enough (top to bottom), there is no way at all that the sides could be tucked in (they are a couple of inches short on both sides). My mattress is 15 1/2 inches deep and the sheets are supposed to fit up to 20 inches deep. In case you are wondering, I did follow the washing instructions. The sheets were washed in cold water and tumble dried low.
This is a brand new standard king size bed (upgraded from queen). I have bought seperately a mattress protector and quilt, and have had no problems with the sizes of these items...they fit perfectly. It is definately the sizing of these sheets.
I have contacted both Egyptian Linens and Amazon and will update how this turns out.
Update March 6. I tried a replacement set offered by the Egyptian Linens representative. Before I washed them I placed them on the bed. The fitted sheet had ample size, but the flat sheet only just made it to the bottom of the mattress on the sides. I then washed them. They shrunk. Again, they then did not fit the bed. The instructions on the amazon web site say tumble dry low. This is at odds with the washing label affixed to the sheets that has the 'do not tumble dry' symbol. Based on my experience, these sheets will shrink if they are tumble dried (they were machine washed on a delicate/ cold cycle). The company has refunded my money. I have since bought some 620 thread count king size sheets from Bed, Bath and Beyond, and they have been washed and they fit exactly as I would expect.
The positive about the Egyptian linen sheets is that the fabric felt fantastic. It was thick and heavy and I enjoyed this quality. If you do not have a thick mattress and do not tumble dry these sheets (I don't have any other option), you might be satisfied with them. Hope this helps.

I ordered these sheets a little over 3 months ago.Initially, I was surprised at how thin and "cheap" the sheets felt.However, I decided to give them a try and see if they really were of poor quality.Within the first 30 days, the sheets started pilling badly.I contacted the seller, who issued me a 50% refund, without needing to return the sheets.I'm still using them, but will need to buy a new set within a few more months, because these will have worn completely through.
