I won't use anything other than 100% cotton terry and these are perfect.They are very soft and absorbent with no lint or pilling.They are a nice ivory color.I also got the matching dish towels.

I bought this set for a gift. I was worried it would not be obsorbent, because you can't tell by a picture. Turns out they are. The pot holder is great also. Needless to say, the recipient loved it.
