Review of Glade Sense & Spray Motion Sensor with Clean Linen Scent 1 set

I placed this product in a high-traffic bathroom.It sprays basically whenever the light is turned on in the bathroom, or when the light is turned on in the adjacent room.I don't consider this a downside because it makes that area of the house smell nice, and I appreciate that it sprays when I am several feet from it so that I do not get spray right in the face.The previous reviewer must have had a defective unit if it didn't spray, because mine sprays rather often!The scent is pleasant and very "natural" smelling, as in it smells clean rather than flowery or fruity (I believe mine came with Clean Linen scent).The only downside is the unit tends to surprise/scare us when it goes off because it makes a little aerosol sound which I'm usually not expecting.So far I have not had any problems with the battery life of the unit, although I have only used it for two weeks.If it becomes an issue, I will use rechargeable batteries. Overall I think this is a great product that really works well for us and I plan to buy more to place in other areas of my house.Even my husband likes it, and he has a tendency to unplug and hide other air fresheners that I have purchased.

I am taking off one star because this item takes counter space, which may be annoying if you want to put it in a small room like a powder room.I wish the company made a plug-in unit, both for the counter space reason and so it would not use batteries.I would rather cover an entire outlet than have to find countertop to place the Sense n Spray and have to replace the batteries in the unit.That said the unit is not large.
