This is listed as a pot holder and described as a mitt... it is neither. it's a teeny-tiny sleeve that slides over the handle of your saucepan!!!! very deceiving description and not at ALL what i thought i had ordered. but for the price, it's not even worth returning so i kept it and just use it as it's supposed to be used.

I have always thought of Waterford as a luxe supreme kind of outfit, what with the crystal and all.So when I saw that Amazon was selling out of Waterford linens I decided to buy this towel on a whim just to see what the quality would be.Yeah, so, it's a towel.It's a pretty color (I bought the mint) and the embroidery is attractive, although not the chunky, satiny embroidery I would expect from a luxury line.The weight of the terry is normal, not cheap, not deluxe.It absorbs like a regular old towel.It laundered well, came out of the wash as ordinary as it went in. So maybe I was wrong and Waterford linens are just regular quality stuff, and not a luxury line.But anyway I won't spend $20 for a hand towel ever again.

These sheets arrived earlier than expected. I washed them four times before putting them on the bed. They are still slightly scratchy but still comfortable. When shopping for bedding this summer, I came across the natural latex pillows.I had to decide between a latex or a tempur-pedic.The price alone decided, however, after sleeping on one for the summer at my sister's, and not having brought home one of my latex pillows, I am having to buy one for my home in Maine as it is the best, most comfortable pillow I have ever slept on.It did not make me perspire as many other pillows do, and it's weight alone was greatfor my head and neck.It was not this specific pillow, however, I am guessing that many of them are similar.If you are hesitant to buying one online, go to a bedding store and try one out.They are great for a side or back sleeper.Since I do not sleep on my stomach, I can't rate it that way.All I can say is try it, you'll like it.

I have checked on other sites for opinions on latex pillows, and it seems I am not the only one to like them.

I am always looking for deals on sheets. I have muscular dystrophy and my skin is VERY sensitive so my husband order 2 of these sets as a present. The first set is wonderful but the 2nd is the worst sheets I have ever had!! I have washed them over and over trying to soften them but nothing works! They actually left chapped spots on my skin!!! They even did the same to my husband.

I couldn't send them back because my husband had done the 1st wash when they came in to surprise me with them. I emailed the company and absolutely NO HELP!!! So much for customer service!! DO NOT BUY from this company because if you have a problem you will get NO HELP!!!!

This came very quickly in the mail - and at first appearance, it seemed like a great set. My son loved it. BUT.... The comforter was VERY stiff... thought it would soften up SOME in the wash. Even washed in cold water - in an oversized washer - this thing got lint beads & some frayed edging after ONE wash!!!! The pillow sham faded some after the first wash as well. Sheet set is great - and that's about the only good thing I have to say - and why it has even the one star on this rating. Bargain buyer beware - if you want some real USE out of a bedset - don't buy this one.

Review of Vinyl 1 Inch Mini Blinds- White

These blinds met all my expectations except one.

They were not 34 inches wide. They were 33 and 3/8 inches wide.

That meant I had to spend time and energy removing old brackets and installilng new ones for the new blinds on two windows. The blinds were barely wide enough to cover both sides of my windows. If the blinds had been 34", the old brackets could have stayed in place and the blinds would have fit the windows better. Not the end of the world, granted, but it was an unneccessary inconvenience.

The boxes said 34" and the sales material said 34".Why didn't they just put Venetian blinds into the boxes that were actually 34" wide?

When I first ordered this curtain, Amazon sent me the hot/cold shower hooks instead. No problem, Amazon said they would send out the curtain and they shipped it very quickly to me. Except they shipped the hooks again! I emailed customer service again and they said obviously there was an issue. They made it so no one could order the curtain while they checked into the issue, which I thought was the right response.
I looked elsewhere for the curtain but couldn't find it. I noticed that Amazon had taken it off hold and I placed a second order for it. Today I received my order. Unfortunately they sent me the hooks yet again! I don't understand why this is so hard to get right. Just wanted to put a warning out there so other folks don't end up frustrated too. Amazon, what are you going to do to fix this? Anything this time? Come on!

Review of Nautica Seagrove Pink Sheet Set

When I was about 10 years-old, my mother taught me how to iron by practicing on pillowcases.Came the percale revolution, and ironing sheets was no longer necessary. When I took these sheets out of the dryer, I was transported back to the '50s, and wondered if I should try to find my iron.It was just a fleeting thought, though.

Nowhere, not on the packaging nor on the attached label, does it say the thread count of these sheets, although the label does say 100% cotton. I would say they are 180-count, and are quite rough to the touch. I read somewhere that they were sailcloth. I believe it!

The set does come with two pillowcases, which is not mentioned in the description, and the bottom sheet will fit mattresses up to 16 inches.

I will say that the colors are true to the photo, and quite pretty.So, I would recommend these sheets to anyone who wants (after ironing them) a nice looking bed, but doesn't intend to sleep in it.

Edited 1-25-10 to add:
Okay, I've been using these sheets for a year and a half now, and I have to say that they get softer and more comfortable over time. The colors have not faded at all with multi-washings.I've upgraded my review from two to three stars. If they didn't come out of the dryer so wrinkled, I would have considered a higher rating.
