Review of Reflections 52 by 52-Inch Tablecloth

Just as promised, any liquid poured on the tablecloth will bead up initially. The material is very soft. This has also seen the washer many times and it still looks like new. I had bought one of these in "Sun" for over twice as much I paid for them on Amazon. Amazon really has a great deal on these. You can't buy a microfiber tablecloth for this price at even Wal-Mart. I really can't say enough good things about this tablecloth.

Review of 450-Thread-Count 100% Cotton Lisa Stripe Sateen Sheet Set

The cotton material is very nice and has a nice firm feeling which would be even better if I had time to iron the sheets.I would compare the quality to something you would pay over $100 for.I have paid over $200 for material slightly better than this and I would compare it to a step below Peacock Alley Brand.Not as rich or soft, but not bad either.

I have washed the sheets twice in extra hot water. I had hoped that would shrink them.I have a very deep pocket King Size bed and the sheets are too loose.I would say they run about1-2 inches wider than I need and 4 inches longer up and down than I need.I should say I have a Tempurpedic bed and It is VERY deep - and the sheet go all the way down the sides of my mattress.But the problem is the corners do not fit tightly. The sheets get a little loose but have not come off at all.If I had a regular mattress I would just use sheet garters to fix the problem but my mattress weighs a tone so lifting a corner is impossible.

I am happy with my purchase at less that $20, but I would not have paid more for it.I may use my sewing matching to get a better fit.

OK, It's been a while since my original post.These sheets did not shrink and we are tired of swimming in our bed when the extra material bunches up.I am going to have to sew up the corners more tightly and see if that helps.

Review of Westport Bay 5300-0032-1000 Linen Cabinet, Antique White Finish

I bought this about 2 months ago from a local furniture store. It was marked down 25% due to a small scratch on the side but it was hardly noticeable so we thought it was worth buying.

We get compliments every time relatives or friends come over to the house - it's a very attractive piece and built very solid.
It is a little heavier than you would expect (it's not that big) so make sure you have a helper when you have to move it.

Very satisfied overall with the purchase and would recommend. I was referred to that model from Gary over here [...]

Review of 1200-Thread-Count Egyptian Cotton 4pc 1200TC Bed Sheet Set, Queen, Sage Solid 1200 TC

First thing--don't go by the color on amazon. Granted, allcomputers are not set the same, but on mine, the color shown is a light, light sagey color. What I got is a mid-to-dark sage. I tend to prefer light sheets, so that was a bit disappointing.

Think a deeper, muted, sage-green and you'll not be surprised. Don't go by the image above.

Now, to the sheet--very substantial feeling. Thick and nice feeling, but I expected softer. I assume repeated washings will take care of that. Not to say it's not soft, mind you, just for this thread count and original price, I did expect dream-soft. The material has a subdued gloss that's quite pretty.

I like the sheets, though they are not supersoft out of the bag or after first wash before using. The color is elegant and dark (yes, I prefer lighter tones, but this is a nice neutral color that can take on a variety of comforters and accent pillows) and looks great with dark wood bedroom furniture like ours.

Enjoy, and I'll update if the quality is spotty with time.

Review of NEW FURNITURE THROW COVERS

Nice, non-slip covers. Have held up over multiple washes. Only negative is the fringe at the bottom. The fringe is easy to get sucked up in a vacuum cleaner and I have been taken down a couple times when my got my toes caught in the fringe loops while walking by. Overall I am very happy though.

I purchased this curtain because it stated that it is water repellent.I hung it up, took a shower and the curtain had soaked all the way through and I had water all over the floor outside the tub.Needless to say it does not repel water, so I used my old shower curtain on the inside and hung the Park B. Overall this product works great, the food comes out easily and the water dispenser works great.The only problem this set has is the blue water container because it gets moldy on the inside.The label on it says it won't get moldy but it does.It's hard to clean too, unless you have a brush that can fit through the narrow opening to clean the inside of it.Other than that, it works just fine.It's such a relief to not have to change my dog's water bowl every day too!

I have standard queen-size pillows, and plenty of old queen-size pillowcases that fit them.Those pillowcases are about 29.5" long: these pillowcases are about 27.5" long.Maybe they just shrunk ridiculously in their initial washing, but they're flat-out useless with queen-size pillows, unless you want to have a couple inches of naked pillow to drool directly on while you sleep.

Review of NEW VINYL ZIPPERED MATTRESS COVERS

Bought this as a cover for my spare queen size memory foam, to keep the foam clean and dry while in my storage unit. This is way cheaper than the covers they sell for the memory foam. I got the king size to make it easy to fit a queen foam inside, and it works beautifully. Cons: The zipper on this cover is a bit cheap, but functional. Not sure it would hold up to frequent use.

While the quality is there, the bottom sheet in the king size version does not adequately fit the mattress. The manufacturers need to give a little more room on this - and this was before washing. It drives me crazy trying to stretch the thing with all my weight over the mattress.

Review of Thomas Lighting SL8238-63 Rockford Collection One-Light Mini-Pendant Painted Bronze Finish with Hand-Painted Linen Glass

We put two of these over our kitchen island and are very happy with them. The down rod comes in two 12" and two 6" sections so you have flexibility in the length.

The shade is slightly off white and has painted lines reminiscent of fabric or lace. IMO it is much prettier than plain frosted glass shades. There is a little play in the shade and it takes a little fooling to get it level.

The finish on the metal is slightly darker but goes well with our "rubbed bronze" cabinet hardware. There is a chain link at the top of the down rod that hangs from the included plate so it can hang from any angle ceiling, or there is a coupling you can use when hanging from a flat ceiling and do not want the chain at the top.

Review of Petmate 22040 Giant Litter Pan, Bleached Linen

I have 6 cats and 2 of them are on the large side. The bigger cats never seemed comfortable in the average size boxes that you find in Wal-Mart, etc. They would "miss" the box sometimes too and that would make for a mess.

This box is so big that I bought a 40lb box of litter at the same time and I dumped the whole 40lbs of litter in the box and it was still several inches from the top of it. It is huge!

I bought one initially and all the cats loved it so much that I bought a second one. I had several small ones and they are now in the trash as they are no longer needed. Two of these with a daily cleaning works for 6 cats.

I love it so much that I wish I was a cat so I could use it. Actually, I could but my wife would have issues with that.......I was just kidding about that.

But, my cats love it, I'd love it if I were a cat and your cats will love it too.

For whatever reason, my kitties seem to enjoy drinking from the Le Bistro waterer more than from their water dishes. Maybe it's the novelty. I do think it will be a good solution for supplying them with fresh water when I'm away.

It *is* a bit on the light side, though. I put mine in a narrow space between a cabinet and a wall, to make sure they don't use it as a toy and slide it all over the floor.

Update: I stopped using this after finding it one morning tipped over with water all over the floor. It's just too light for a young, playful cat.

They are not silk, just silky to the touch and only on one side. If I knew then what I know now I would not make another purchase of this product mainly because the material sheds fibers more so than one would like. After 3 washes I was able to start breathing in fresh air again, while sleeping, rather than the fibers of these sheets. Cotton sheets would be more comfortable or else pure silk sheets for a true silk sheet feel.
