I have been going around trying to find a nice comforter cover for a while. And since they are not too popular over here in the states, its been almost impossible trying to find something that actually looked decorative, warm, and didn't cost a fortune. To top it all, the material the sheets are made of are very soft and feel durable. I was looking for an orange pillow for quite a while before I found this one.The color is more of a burnt orange and the pillow has an interesting look to it.You don't usually find orange pillows that have a print on them.At least not one so simple that can go with anything. I bought this set to go with my coffee themed kitchen. I wanted kitchen towel to actually use but also an oven mitt to hang on the wall that would be only used for decoration. The set is very nice looking. So far the towels have been very durable. The reason I gave 3 stars instead of 5 is because the other reviewer was right. Don't use the oven mitt unless you want a burn. It is very thin and not at all good at protecting your hand. But if you are buying this for purely decoration it will serve the purpose nicely.

This is almost exactly what i'd wanted. It's very soft, even before the first washing, and only felt better after being washed and dried. Quality is excelllent - no flaws. The button closure is a little tricky but the end result is worthwhile. Fits my queen sized duvet perfectly. My only very minor complaint is that i'd hoped the color would be a darker chocolate, whereas in the light its more a light-medium chocolate color, but still i'm very happy.

This collection from CooknStyle is superb. I bought several aprons, oven mitts, and pot holders for my wife for Christmas. As a woman who loves to cook and who loves to really get into the act of cooking, she has owned many aprons in the past. She has been quite impressed with the quality of workmanship from everything she received. Our only minor complaint was that not all lines carry all accessories, for example one apron only had the matching mitts, and not the pot holders also. But for the most part, CooknStyle has a wonderful collection.

Review of Wamsutta Sateen Couture 500 Queen Fitted

This is another high-quality product from wamsutta. It is lightweight--not stiff at all, and it feels much more luxurious and fine than other sheets with similar thread count, both because of the quality of the 100% combed supima cotton, and because other cheaper brands often cheat on their thread counts by simply doubling up the threads rather than actually making the weave finer. I just bought these (from a different vendor, not from Amazon) in the sage green color (Queen Fitted), and there is a definite luster--more than it shows in the photo above, though I have no idea how it will hold up after washing. The product specifications given on the Amazon site are correct and match with the specifications given on the plastic zippered packaging. The fitted pockets really are extra deep, and look like they would accommodate up to an 18" thick mattress--I can only test it on my 16" one, and I'm happy to say it fits that with room to spare (or a little leeway for shrinking in the wash). Also, the elastic goes all the way around, to ensure a good fit. It does wrinkle quite a bit, but not any more than do other 100% cotton sheets.

About the price: shop around; I'm sure you can find a better deal that Amazon's ($79.99 at the time of this posting), $20 or less is a reasonable range for one queen-size fitted sheet (I got mine for about 10 bucks, new in package at a discount retailer).

I bought these on sale here at Amazon. The butterfly print is bright but not too busy. Though they a marked cocktail size, they are large enough for luncheon napkins. These thick, two-layered napkins are sturdy and absorbent.

Just put this on my bed and I'm very disappointed. I have a standard king size mattress and the king size comforter is too small.It is smaller than the top of the mattress. There is no overhang at all, which might be fine if you're sleeping alone. I can see my husband and I getting into a tug-of-war match with this comforter in the middle of the night.Shouldn't the comforter be larger than the top of the mattress?

Review of King Size 1000 Thread Count Solid Burgundy Sheet Set 100 % Egyptian Cotton 4pc Bed Sheet Set (Deep Pocket)

I have never purchased a 1,000 thread count sheet set before. I ordered this one because we wanted a burgundy color and this was the only set we could find. Expectations admittedly were high both because of the advertised thread count and the price. We have had the sheets for about a month now and despite repeated washings, we are still extremely disappointed with them.We can not get them to be anywhere near what someone might call soft. It is an honest statement to say they actually still feel somewhat rough. Another issue we cannot understand is the unusually heavy weight of these sheets. The top sheet feels like a lightweight blanket. Washing has helped but it is still much heavier than anything we have experienced. Perhaps another couple months of washing may turn this set into the set described in the advertising for them.

This is a verypretty bedding set and worth it for the price I got it for ($50 free shipping). The colors seem a shade darker than pictured so it will look good in a room thats well lit...The tassles are missing in the order I got. Also the material felt slightly cheap and threads were hanging loose at a few spots - not something you will expect from a Macy's product. This set is perfect for the guest or spare bedroom or for occasional use. It does'nt seem it would last long with regular usage though it is nice to use during the end of summer when its not very hot or very cold. Overall I would give it 3 and 1/2 stars if amazon allowed that...

There was a house fire here in Tucson and it was blamed on an old electric blanket that was turned off but still plugged in! If you have an old electric blanket, 8 to 10 years old, you really should replace it.
