Upon arrival these sheets smelled just awful - one wash and they were pleasant and soft. Must have been a form of sizing so, just like anything you buy that will touch your skin, you must wash before using. The thread count is medium high and the price was reasonable - half of the price I paid when I bought the bed. Also, the sheets I bought with the bed didn't hold up to repeated washings. Looking forward to complete reliability and comfort for a long time to come with these.

I'm not exactly a bedding conoseiur, so I can't speak to the "feel" of these sheets compared to others of lesser or better advertised quality, but these worked fine to replace my worn out "600 TC" cotton/poly sheets.The fitted sheet even completely fit my very thick mattress.The only "con" I can list is the color...they have a sort of sheen and a lighter color than my other black bedding.Your results may vary, but it's something to consider if you want to perfectly match these to pieces from another set.

Review of 1000-Thread-Count Egyptian Cotton 1000TC Sheet Set, Olympic Queen, White Solid 1000 TC

I've been sleeping on 1000+ thread count sheets exclusively for 2 years now.Every single set I have has been purchased via Amazon.Com.So, sight unseen, I trust that product descriptions are accurate, and I've always been happy with my purchases.Until now.

There is no WAY that these sheets are 1000 thread count!Actually, they're sold as 1000 tc, but the card inside the package says they're 1200 tc.The tag on the sheets themselves, however, says only "100% Egyptian Cotton".No manufacturer, no clue as to thread count, totally generic.Nothing.

These sheets are flimsy, scratchy, and entirely below my expectations.The closest comparison I can find is to liken them to cheap hospital sheets.Or possibly 200 thread count sheets like what you can find at Kmart.They're really that thin!

I slept on them uncomfortably for one night, then washed them with lots of fabric softener and tried to put them on my bed again.No dice.They're horrible and I can't stand the feel of them on my skin. And on visual analysis, compared to the 1000 tc sheets I already own?They're FAR substandard.

I would send them back, but after all that I've done to them to try to get what I paid for, I don't know that the company would even accept them.So I've decided to save them for *that* time of the month (so it won't matter if they get stained) and/or guests (although I'm not sure if I even want to subject my guests to their rough, scratchy texture.)

I will never buy from this company again, and I suggest that you learn from my negative experience and do the same.There are many bedding retailers on Amazon who actually deliver the high quality that they promise.

I give them 2 stars instead of 1 only because 1: They arrived relatively quickly, so the shipping is fast.And 2: They're BIG and have LOTS of room for thick mattresses and to allow me to wash on hot with bleach if I need to without worrying about shrinkage~which is usually a worry with high thread count sheets.

Even with those allowances though...I'm utterly disappointed and I'll never buy from this company again.

This is the warmest duvet I have ever slept under. It is perfect for a Midwest winter. When I took it out of the box I was initially disappointed. I had expected it to be very thick, with a massive "loft" and a luxurious look. I shook it and it stayed relatively flat. It felt thin and too light. But once you start sleeping under it, it is bliss: utterly warm and utterly light. Obviously, the Siberian goosedown does its stuff. This is a luxury product at a bargain price.

I am very disapointed in these sheets.The first couple times they were great, but then after a few washings the fitted sheet started getting little pills all over it and now they are not comfortable at all.

Update - I contacted the manufacturer about this problem and they sent me a set of 1000 ct stripped sheets that are wonderful.

I tested many high-quality towels before settling on these and so far (after a month of regular trips through the washing machine) I'm still delighted with the choice. The Egyptian cotton is luxurious but also has enough texture to be absorbent and give a pleasant rub-down feeling when you dry yourself off. (Unlike the Turkish towels which seemed spongy and too plush, or the Indian micro-cotton towels that were soft but didn't absorb). These have straightforward washing instructions too, so you can get them really clean.
The pattern is really handsome, especially when you mix towels with some displayed in reverse. And the price (2 sets for [..] from[..]) is a bargain for the quality.

Review of 1000-Thread-Count Egyptian Cotton 1000TC Sheet Set, Olympic Queen, Ivory Solid 1000 TC

The seller claims that these sheets have a very high thread count (1,000 T-C), which would make them very soft. They are not at all soft. In addition, when I received them, I put them on the bed and they barely fit, but the fitted sheet did just tuck under the mattress and the top sheet came down to just below the bottom of the mattress on either side, so I decided to keep them. After one washing (as directed by the instructions: cold water wash, low temperature drier), they no longer fit the mattress. The seller claims that they fit very deep mattresses (14"-20"), but after the one wash, the fitted sheet only comes down about two thirds the depth of the mattress and my mattress is only 12" deep. The top sheet only comes down about 8" from either side of the top, so it can't be tucked in and it only fully covers one person in the bed. The seller claims that the top sheet is 92" wide, but it is only 82" wide.

I called the seller and he was very nice, but only offered a 50% refund if I kept the sheets. I told him that the sheets were of no use to me and I wanted a full refund, including shipping, and I would send them back to him. He told me that, because I had washed the sheets (who would sleep on them unwashed?), he could not return them to the manufacturer and he would be out the full cost. Finally, he agreed to refund the full amount, but when the refund showed up, it did not include the shipping. So I have paid shipping (not a huge amount: $7.49) for something that is not what the manufacturer/seller has advertised. The seller asked me not to write a review, but I felt that it was unfair to keep this information from prospective buyers and I also felt that he didn't keep his promise to give me a full refund.

In spite of the fit problems, I have used the sheets now for a few months. They are a pain because the fitted sheet keeps slipping up and off and the bottom sheet doesn't provide enough coverage. The bottom sheet is also too short and barely tucks under the bottom of the mattress, so my feet get uncovered during the night. I have only used the sheets because Olympic Queen is difficult to find and the ones of decent quality are outrageously expensive (because of the unusual size, I suppose). So, while I did get mostly free sheets, they don't fit properly. This puts me in the position to either spend $300 for a good quality set or use sheets that don't do the job. I now have washed the sheets many times and they are no softer than they were when I first got them.

Bottom line: For $99 you will get sheets that don't fit and are stiff, and customer service that is friendly, but doesn't come through. I feel bad for the seller because he lost his money, but he needs to buy his products from reliable manufacturers.

I bought these towels with high expectations for the Egyptian Cotton.The sheets are a good size and delivery was within the promised time frame.However, I have now washed and dried these towels a total of 10 times and the amount of fuzz coming off these towels is ridiculous.In the beginning I figured after a few washes the fuzz would dissipate but even after the 10th wash and dry, the fuzz that is deposited on your body as you try to dry off is completely out of control.The towels are burgundy and the fuzz is everywhere.Had I not washed them so many times I would have returned the four towels I purchased.I am not clear as to whether the fuzz if from the Egyptian cotton or the poor quality of the towel itself.I have owned Egyptian Cotton sheets and did not have this issue and have owned towels that were much less expensive and not had the fuzz problem.

By all means buy these towels if you'd like endless fuzz wiped all over you while trying to dry off.I would not recommend these towels to anyone.

This is a little pricy for an assemble it yourself.HOWEVERIt's a straight forward assembly and the quality is better than I expected. It's difficult to find a free standing linen cabinet that is standard cabinet sized and good quality. I am pleased with this unit and would recomend it.

Sheets arrive in a plastic, zipped bag. Upon opening, the sheets have strong chemical smell that washed out.Washing instructions on the sheets state "Hand/Machine was: DO NOT USE HOT WATER". No drying instructions. Not many of us hand washing sheets today and I prefer to wash my sheets in hot water.I washed my set in cold water and a medium setting dryer and agree with the other review that the sheets are a tight fit.It was a struggle to get them on my queen mattress (no pillow top). Quality of the product is good. It is a thick sheet and I think they will soften up with a few washings.

No, these slipcovers aren't the best. But considering how much they cost, they are a great deal. They definitely do the job.

I would suggest that these are not permanent slipcovers, though. They are good for covering up problem furniture when you need it, but not for a permanent fix. We bought them because we have a couch and loveseat that are very comfortable and perfect for entertaining, but they are also the only couches in the house that the dogs are allowed to be on. So they're covered in dog hair. These are great because they cover up the hair - and they're machine washable so we can pull them out for company and then wash and put them away for later.

My only real complaint is that they always seem to be wrinkled, but at my last party I actually got a number of compliments on them, so they're not ugly. If you're looking for something to be permanent and beautiful, these aren't for you. If you looking for a quick, temporary fix, these are great.

Smart Bargains never replied to any of my emails for months where I was asking how to go about returning this product.When they finally replied they said they couldn't accept the return because they have a 30 day policy.When I emailed them copies of all the previous emails (Automatic replies to my emails) they had sent me they never replied!

Also, they never included any info inside my package.No invoice at all, nothing!

Now I'm stuck with a slipcover which, by the way, doesn't fit big fluffy couches.It must be a structured couch like that which is shown on the picture.I'm extremely disappointed!

I have to say that Amazon was no help with this, either!After they told me they'd contact the seller I never heard fromt here again.Now I will go out of my way to buy elsewhere, first.
