No, these slipcovers aren't the best. But considering how much they cost, they are a great deal. They definitely do the job. I would suggest that these are not permanent slipcovers, though. They are good for covering up problem furniture when you need it, but not for a permanent fix. We bought them because we have a couch and loveseat that are very comfortable and perfect for entertaining, but they are also the only couches in the house that the dogs are allowed to be on. So they're covered in dog hair. These are great because they cover up the hair - and they're machine washable so we can pull them out for company and then wash and put them away for later.
My only real complaint is that they always seem to be wrinkled, but at my last party I actually got a number of compliments on them, so they're not ugly. If you're looking for something to be permanent and beautiful, these aren't for you. If you looking for a quick, temporary fix, these are great.
