I ordered these sheets having always loved the feel of Egyptian Cotton. The price is what one would expect for 600 thread count. When the sheets were delivered, I noticed the package said 1,000 thread count. I opened the package and felt rough cloth. I assumed they would certainly feel better after washing and adding fabric softener; I was wrong. After several washes the sheets still felt scratchy, I have felt unwashed new 250 thread count Egyption cotton sheets that were softer! The service from the company was okay, shipping was fast, but when I complained about the sheets all I got was sarcasm and the continual remark that "no other customer has ever complained". I paid good money for sheets that were unfomfortable and rough no matter what I tried. I ended up giving them to the Salvation Army.
