These are really a good deal. They are softer tham the 340 count non-sateen at the mall because these are sateen, and they really fit the thick 16 or about 18 inch thick matress. I bought a set in 2006 for my son and now ordering another set for another bed in 2008 for my daughter, for she is getting a new bed set for Christmas because she is out growing her bunk bed. I am buying these for children and for the price, softness, quality , and fit on the thick matresses one cannot lose, for the one from 2006 has stood up to numerous washings and hot air drying in the dryer and still fits and feels great according to my son.
