Review of Empire 20 ounce Mottled Wax Candle

I was hoping for a much better candle.

This candle has a nice fragrance and look. The scent is subtly sweet, almost appetizing. The only problem is with the wick. The wick doesn't burn well and clean. It clumps up very quickly and I can't leave it burning more than a few minutes to trim the wick.

The glass above the wax on this candle has already become black (something that usually doesn't happen with most quality candles) The wick doesn't burn clean, it blackens through the air. This is my first experience with this brand of candle, so I hope they all don't burn this way, but because they aren't cheap, I'm unwilling to try another.

Very dissappointed here.
